National Youth Event
The UCC National Youth Event will be held July 10-14, 2012 at Purdue University, Indiana.
Those traveling by bus with Penn Central Conference will gather on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10PM in the Conference parking lot, 900 S Arlington Avenue, Harrisburg, 17109. Cars may be parked in the lot furthest from the building. Please be prompt. It will take some time to load the bus and become organized. We will leave no later than 11pm. We will travel through the evening, stopping only to pick up those from Penn West Conference. Our goal is to arrive in Indiana at Purdue University by mid-day, Tuesday, July 10, 2012. We will stop for breakfast when convenient. Penn Central Conference will cover the cost of breakfast on Tuesday morning. We will leave Purdue University early Saturday morning, July 14th and should arrive back at the Conference Office between 9-11PM that evening. This depends on the number of stops we make on the journey home. You should plan on bringing extra funds for our meals on the way home. We will be stopping for lunch and dinner and Purdue will have the cafeteria open for breakfast before we leave but it will be at your own expense.
Sheets, blanket and pillows are provided as well as a towel and washcloth and there will be a towel exchange available each day for clean towels. You will need to bring your own soap, shampoo and other personal toiletries.
