The fall semester of the Clergy Leadership Series will begin Thursday, September 22nd at Colonial Park, Harrisburg from 1pm to 4pm. Please note these dates are on Thursday’s (not Wednesday’s as in previous sessions) in the hopes of others being able to attend.

Also, we are changing things around (to try something new!). We will break into 4 groups, and each group will travel together to 4 workshops. The feedback we received was that because the workshops were so popular, clergy wanted to attend multiple ones. So this year, you will go to all 4 workshops, they will be 25 minutes each. We will meet as one large group at the beginning for devotional time and a time to ask conference staff any pressing questions. In between the 4 workshops, will be a 20 minute break for lots of good food and fellowship.

Please register with Janice Mountain so we have a count for food. All PCC clergy are expected to attend, this is an important way we resource and support one another to live our vision statement.

Workshops for September 22nd:

Laurene Bowers, “Getting Visitors to the Front Door”

Danielle Neff, “Live Streaming Your Worship Service”

Chris Rodkey, “How to Attract Millenials thru sites such as Thumbtack”

Rick Luciotti, “Clergy Self-Care: Some Reflections”

Other Dates will be Thursday, October 20th & Thursday, November 17th.

This continuing education opportunity is open to all clergy in the Penn Central Conference and a time to get together. This series is paid for by Our Church’s Wider Mission. There is no cost to those attending.
